Primary Care Medical Services

In addition to addiction recovery support, ARMOR offers primary care services to help patients manage their overall health. Our mobile clinics are equipped to provide:

  • Routine check-ups and wellness exams

  • Treatment for common illnesses and infections

  • Management of chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)

  • Health screenings (e.g., blood pressure, cholesterol)

  • Preventive care, including vaccinations

By integrating primary care with addiction treatment, ARMOR ensures that patients receive the full spectrum of healthcare services, promoting both physical and mental well-being

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Services

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a proven approach to treating Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), combining FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies. MAT is highly effective at reducing opioid use, decreasing withdrawal symptoms, and preventing relapse.

ARMOR medical provider
  • Buprenorphine: Often used in the form of Suboxone, this medication helps to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, allowing individuals to focus on their recovery.

  • Naltrexone: Available as an injection (Vivitrol), this medication blocks the effects of opioids and helps prevent relapse.

  • Comprehensive Care Plans: We work closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan, incorporating MAT, counseling, and other support services to meet their specific needs.

Outpatient Treatment Services

ARMOR offers a variety of outpatient services to support individuals in their recovery journey. Our outpatient care is designed to be flexible and accessible, allowing patients to receive treatment without disrupting their daily lives. Services include:

  • Counseling & Therapy: Our licensed therapists provide individual and group counseling sessions, available in-person or via telehealth, helping patients develop coping strategies and address underlying issues related to their addiction.

  • Mental Health Support: Many individuals with SUD also struggle with co-occurring mental health conditions. ARMOR integrates mental health support into our treatment plans, offering access to psychiatric nurse practitioners and therapists when needed.

  • Peer Recovery Support: Our Peer Recovery Support Specialists offer guidance and encouragement from someone who has walked a similar path. These individuals provide critical emotional support throughout the recovery process.

How We Deliver Care

ARMOR mobile clinics are designed to provide the same high level of care that patients would receive in a traditional outpatient clinic. Each of our mobile units is equipped with exam rooms, a lab for urine drug screens and blood draws, and telehealth capabilities, ensuring that patients can access a wide range of services in one convenient location.

Substance Use Disorder (SUD) refers to the harmful or hazardous use of substances like drugs or alcohol that leads to significant impairment or distress. It’s a complex and chronic condition, but with the right support and treatment, recovery is possible. ARMOR is dedicated to helping individuals address SUD through a compassionate and personalized approach.

Understanding Substance Use Disorder (SUD)

What is Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)?

Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) is a specific type of SUD involving the misuse of opioid drugs, whether prescription medications like oxycodone or illicit drugs like heroin. OUD can have devastating effects on individuals and families, but effective treatment exists. ARMOR provides a range of evidence-based treatment options, ensuring that each patient receives the care that’s right for them.
