    ARMOR (Arkansas Mobile Opioid Recovery) is a mobile clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment for opioid addiction in underserved rural communities throughout Arkansas. We bring a full range of services, from Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to counseling and peer support, directly to those who need it most.
  • What services does ARMOR offer?
    ARMOR provides a variety of services, including: Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Counseling and therapy Mental health support for co-occurring conditions Peer recovery support from trained specialists Lab services, including urine drug screens and blood draws
  • What is Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)?
    Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a treatment approach that combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). It is proven to help reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, and prevent relapse. ARMOR provides medications like Buprenorphine (Suboxone) and Naltrexone (Vivitrol) as part of its MAT services.
  • Where does ARMOR provide services?
    ARMOR currently serves the following communities: Danville Morrilton Conway Haskell Malvern Arkadelphia We regularly update our schedule and are expanding to new locations. Check the Locations page for the most up-to-date information.
  • How often will ARMOR visit my community?
    ARMOR is committed to being consistent and reliable. We visit each service location at least every two weeks. Our goal is to establish lasting partnerships with local organizations and individuals, complementing the incredible work already happening in these communities.
  • Can I request that ARMOR come to my community?
    Yes! We welcome requests from communities that need opioid addiction treatment services. You can submit a request through the form on our Locations page. Our team will evaluate all requests and do our best to bring ARMOR to communities where the need is greatest.
  • What should I expect when visiting an ARMOR clinic?
    When you visit an ARMOR mobile clinic, you’ll find a fully equipped healthcare facility, similar to a traditional outpatient clinic. Our mobile units have exam rooms, labs for drug screens and blood draws, and telehealth capabilities for remote consultations. Each clinic is staffed with a doctor or nurse practitioner, nursing staff, peer recovery support specialists, and administrative staff.
  • Do I need to schedule an appointment, or can I walk in?
    You are welcome to do either! While we encourage appointments to ensure the best possible service, ARMOR also accepts walk-ins. See our Service Schedule for location details.
  • What if I need mental health support in addition to addiction treatment?
    ARMOR integrates mental health support into its treatment plans. Our team includes psychiatric nurse practitioners and mental health therapists, either on-site or available via telehealth, to ensure that you receive comprehensive care for both addiction and mental health needs.
